Philip Don Estridge

Philip Don Estridge led the development of the original IBM personal computer (PC) in 1981, paving the way for the development of modern computers. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from University of Florida in 1959 and worked briefly in the army designing radar systems before being employed at IBM and NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
